Twelvty-Twelve
Hey folks, remember the 12 in 12 in 12 project? One book: 12 colors in 12 months. Serendipitously conjured up in the year called ’12.
It’s been a little while since the last update, and as well as the recent (unseen) month-color-pages I’ve been hopping back in time to add little bits and things here and there.
So as we arrive in the 12th of the 12th of ’12, here comes the first of (…hey – guess how many…) daily snips of pages you’ve not seen yet!

hey folks, hope you’re all keeping well n keeping warm!
I’ve just been looking through some pics from last year on my computer, and thought I’d share with you some of my digital doings.
For about 10 years, pretty much all the art I made was based in the digital world.
Having a small space in which to play was the reason I got started like this – it’s pretty much impossible to make an actual mess – you can’t spill pixels on the carpet and get in trouble with the grown ups for a start!
I became entranced, as I learnt new skills I was seduced by the squillions of options, and I poured my spare hours into learning more and more.
While I still enjoy a good dabble, the world of inks and paints and stained hands (and, ahem, carpets… shh don’t tell!) and all that has, for now, won my heart.
Who knows what comes next! 😀

This week I’ve thrown my time into screen printing, taking the dayoff work yesterday to use the college print room. Most of the prints are still drying, but I got to bring these 3 home!
I used the backgrounds I created the previous week… plus a bunch of random papers from my ever increasing collection – dyed envelopes, painting experiments, dictionary pages, collages. I’ll post some more up next week 🙂
