In the summer of 2020 I embarked on an epic art journaling adventure.
This is a 600 page sketchbook

Here is the story so far…
Every week I’m adding a new double page spread, filled with doodles and sketches, passing thoughts, splashes of color, collage, and the occasional snippet of another project I’m playing with at the time.
Book of Days: 600 page sketchbook
To date I haven’t missed a week – although some are more elaborate and detailed, some are scrappier and hashed together – that’s just reflecting how the rhythm of my life goes.
A book this size will be with me for some years to come, I’m sure some weeks will get skipped over between here and the final spread. Not least because this book weighs a ton and I don’t plan to take her with me on holiday!

Recently I went away for a week (sans book).
When I got home I filled the blank spread with a big doodly watercolor map of where I’d been.
This is enough to remind me of the beaches, the rolling countryside + the otter sanctuary in Devon.
I’ll probably add some more details of the trip in time.
If you follow me on Instagram or TikTok you’ll see little snippets of these pages as they come together.
Every few months I make a flip through video of the story so far.
